Mikelangelo Loconte is going to leave aside its dress of Mozart to come to sing, everything spangles it and legs of elephant, on stage in Belgium for the Tour Belgian Restaurants du Coeur. During our interview, he will explain to us how he arrived on the Tour Restaurants in Belgium and will speak to us about a few Coluche. He will also evoke " Mozart L' Opéra-Rock ", whose last representations will take place in July in Bercy, and the preparation of its first solo album, with, among others, an attractive complicity full of sensibility with Joyce Jonathan.
How did you arrive this year on the Tour Belgian Restaurants du Coeur?Mikele: I arrived as soon as I knew. I knew for some time Jef and Desty, who are on the base of the artistic sense of this project. Desty, I knew him at time when choreographer; Jef, I knew him when I lived here, in Liège. As soon as they came to ask me to come, I directly spun a phone call to my producers by asking them to make me replace in Mozart l' Opéra-Rock so that I can come to support Restaurants du Coeur in Belgium. Belgium, it is my country also, thus, it is very important for me. It is another comedian who is going to play the role of Mozart when I shall be on stage here, for Restaurants. It is rather incredible!
What they evoke you, Coluche and Restaurants du Coeur? It is very magic. You know, when I arrived in the French-speaking lands at the beginning, I did not know who was Coluche. I knew well obviously that it was a humorist, I had seen him(it) on the TV. And when we explained me what he had made with Restaurants du Coeur, I understood the miracle of which he had managed to make. It is something that we artists lures to respect eternally.
This year, the theme of the show, it is the disco. What that evokes you?(Laughter) My child's dream to become a dancer! It was very difficult for me when I lived in the South of Italy. You know, I come from a place where there was no dancing school. And I was a kid, by above the market, thus I could not dance! I lived a childhood a little deprived at the artistic level, because I could not be an artist.
You thus wanted to become a dancer before becoming a singer?Yes. We were a group of friends and we had created a team of breakdance. So, I could dance all the same. We went to the discotheques and we danced. I remember myself in this period how much I liked the disco, even if I sang of the rock.
What is for you the disco tube par excellence?Oh! There is too much. We could even say that they are works of art, for certain titles. But I want to speak to you about "Saturday Night Fever" and "Grease". It is maybe two more beautiful things which evoke me the disco!
You are again going to meet in a configuration with the other artists. Do not you today want to evolve a little bit alone, after two years crossed within the troop of " Mozart L' Opéra-Rock "?I like when I meet with a lot of artists for a project as this one. I also made it in Lyon for the "Football-concert", it is artists who play football and then who sing. It is brilliant. I like when the artists meet and I also like making " Mozart L' Opéra rock ", because it is a family. A family of artists, acrobats, dancers. It is brilliant. It is just magnificent. Next to that, I also prepare a solo career, because when we have things to be said, we do not say them in this way, by being the interpreter of a role. Thus, this solo project is already in preparation. It will be a very very very passionate album. The French people, you know him however I, are intellectual. But there, I want whether it is an album of energy and passion
We heard names, as Joyce Jonathan and Emmanuelle Cosso-Mérad, who would participate in this project... Is it true or is it a rumour?Euh [Mikele seems amazed] You know about it about things! But it is completely true. I confirm it to you. It will be a very attractive collaboration with Joyce Jonathan. It is the moving artist who has a lot of sensibility. It is for that that I chose her. We have this sensibility on the surface of skin in common. We made a very very sensitive song.
Mozart, Opéra-Rock ", "c'est bientôt la fin ", to take back the song. What that makes you?I was chosen to embody the role of Mozart for reasons of capacity. When the musicians of Zazie located me in Liège, they saw that I lived in the period as Mozart would maybe have lived today. It is what they liked at home. They told me to come such as I was, such as I had to change nothing. On the place(square) of a character, I made a person, simply. I provided him with my sensibility. Naturally, around that, there is a whole story... Then, that ends in July in Bercy. It was the real beautiful adventure.
That puts under stress you to make Bercy? That sometimes worries me. But it is not a problem of fear or stage nerves. We are any loans to make that. We so want it. Now, you know, the show begins to run well! (Laughter) most of the public who will be in Bercy, I want to say that they will be friends. For two years now, they follow us everywhere. We are lucky to have very very present fans. Bercy, we shall make it almost in family.
